Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The Lastra White Muffin Tin brings timeless Italian style into everything you bake. Lastra’s design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.
Microwave Safe – The temperature of VIETRI pieces may vary after microwave use due to the handmade nature of quality, natural clays. Thus, as with all products used in a microwave, please use the following precautions:
Oven Safe – VIETRI’s casserole and baking dishes can be used in most conventional ovens and dishwashers. They are handcrafted of very dense clays and fired at high temperatures, making them heat resistant up to 400°F. Do not use casserole lids in the oven, unless otherwise noted. Hot casseroles and baking dishes should never be placed on cool, damp, or unprotected surfaces. VIETRI bakeware should never be taken directly from the refrigerator to the oven due to the extreme temperature change, nor should it be placed directly from oven to freezer. The handles of these pieces are decorative and should not be used for support. Please remove the bakeware from the oven by holding the body of the dish, supporting the base.
Freezer Safe – Item can withstand freezing temperatures, but please allow it to return to room temperature before putting it into the oven.
Italian Stoneware – A mix of different clays including a stoneware clay that can be fired at higher temperatures and provides added strength to the product.

THE ARTISTRY
Signor Stefano Roselli is the master molder for a ceramics cooperative located in a small town seven miles outside of Florence, and he is the creator behind this collection. VIETRI has worked with Stefano and factory owner Franco Ammannati for close to 15 years, creating and bringing to market dinnerware collections, vases, urns, and other home decor products.

Returns
Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us due to the involvement of several parties including the factory and our warehouse. The actual inventory may change at any moment. It is possible that the stocks could be depleted after your order has been placed.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days since you purchased it.
Your item should be in its original packaging and not be used. It must also still be in the original package.
